Hibiscus lobbies get updated-new boat slip covers, Wildwood Road sidewalk photos
The Hibiscus lobbies are getting some updates and the Wildwood Road sidewalk is under construction! The association as replaced the tile on the floors and elevators in both lobbies. They have also put wood trim over the metal trim on the ceilings and gave them a paint job. The new updates look nice. 🙂
There have been some new boat slip covers added in the last month or so. These are over the large boat slips that are located on the floating dock. Tony Livingston and Mike McNab now have covers side by side over their Grady White boats.
Additionally the sidewalk construction on Wildwood Road has finally started! 🙂 As many of you may know walking or bicycling down this road could definitely be like taking a walk or ride on the wild side! 🙄 I wrote about it in this post on Wildwood Road.
When it is finished it will be a much more enjoyable walk or bike ride. Many folks like to use the Hathaway Bridge, as I do as part of their exercise program. I ride to the bridge, then ride over an back as part of my winter bicycle rides to stay in shape. It will be more enjoyable and safer to get there now by using the sidewalk and not having to worry so much about getting run over on the road. The other folks who live in the area and the children in the area will be much safer if they can use the sidewalk to go back and forth.
If you think you’ll like the new sidewalk on Wildwood Road feel free to post your thoughts here!
Gotta go! Have a GREAT day!
