Fish The October Tides and catch more fish!
Capt. Don White Cotton took out some of his fellow Hibiscus neighbors to fish the October tides for red snapper on the Gulf Of Mexico. They were taking advantage of the extended or rather supplemental red snapper season in both State and Federal waters on the Gulf Of Mexico. Read more on the supplemental red snapper season here. Capt. Don sent me the photos he took below and reported these fish were caught about 11 miles out on squid and pinfish, aka choffers.
The links below the tides charts will let you read, print and download the October, 2013 tide charts for the Panama City Channel Entrance and Alligator Bayou so you can fish the October tides. The Alligator Bayou tide chart is closest to Hibiscus By The Bay.
Fishing according to the October tides can give you a better chance of being successful. 😉
Light winds, calm waters, and tight lines!
